After months of planing, registration and getting a LAN together it's finally time for the
zpgaming.eu LAN! During this weekend we will see over 50 Day of Defeat: Source games getting played on LAN in what must be the largest non-BYOC Source LAN to date. To spice things up there are 2300 in cash prizes and 1000 in product prizes (from
ROCCAT and
Speed-Link) for the 19 teams attending to win.
LAN Dates & Times:
28-30th of August
Friday - 17.00 - 02.00 (Match times: 18.00-22.30)
Saturday - 09.00 - 02.00 (Match times: 9.30-00.30)
Sunday - 09.00 - 17.00 (Match times: 9.30-16.30)

on behalf of eXtensive, one of their guys had to change his way of traveling there and will arrive late, like very late on friday. And since Carl is not here to say it (aConsidering the others don't speak great english, i'm doing it for them) so they would like to know if it's possible to delay their game against RAGE. #3 Since you were registered as Dimension 4 and no one told me about your "other" name it will say Dimension 4 on all the papers and schedules. I hope that won't be a problem :)

Why?? On maps like coire it really sucks, everyone will spam changeclass to get good spawns. Does this include the fact we can changeclass when a mate is in spawn to respawn instantly?

Spawn are a random factor of the game, just adapt your tactics to that.
One other question, after the groupstages, who plays who? (1st A vs 4th D .. etc)

Would really like to see the play-off brackets.
Also agree with Havok. Its a part of the game, dont want everyone to have good spawns all the time :)

Also agree. Fast respawning has never been allowed and must not be a part of the game imo. If we allow this, what's next ? A plugin to fix respawn time on everyone's death, just to make the game less random ? Nah, it's part of the charm of DoD:S, please don't allow this :)
