CAL Europe: Week 6

Week 6 is here and this week's map is the gruelling dod_flash. Last week more clans dropped out causing a record number of defaulted matches. Signs for this week are not promising, but hopefully there will be a better turnout.

We'll see close matches this week as flash is very hard to fullcap and each team will rely on their concentration and focus to keep trying hard for the full 40 minutes.

CAL Europe - Week 6

Trademark Gamers [ 1:0 ] spite

TmG: N/A
spite: N/A
Time: Wednesday 29th March, 20:00 CET
Demo: N/A

schoon - Trademark Gamers > spite by 2:0

This is without doubt the match of the week, however it would be more interesting on a better map, and im sure both the teams wont enjoy this match much. It promises to be messy and could end up going down to points difference.

I think Spite's heavies will contain TmG's but the lights of TmG will cripple Spite with continuous pressure and probably force a couple of fullcaps - that is if the Mg doesnt come out.

nanoSense [ 12:0 ] NoMercy

nS: MoMo, J0r, Brn, sX, Linkje, K-Fear
NM: Reejon, RaJa, Cypher, Fordj@h, Syco, Kilroy
Time: Wednesday 29th March, 20:00 CET
Demo: N/A

schoon - nanoSense > NoMercy by 5:0

nS have improved a lot since they changed name from mysTix and i cant see NM putting up much resistance even on flash.

Anonyme Elefanter [ X:X ] Demonite

AE: TBA
dmn: TBA
Time: Wednesday 29th March, 20:00 CET (Postponed)
Demo: N/A

schoon - Anonyme Elefanter < Demonite by 0:3

dmn haven't been so active recently but they still have skilled players and i think it is this skill difference which will give them a comfortable win here.

Fresh&TighT [ 2:0 ] Finnish Brandenburg

F&T: shu, crassus, kuli, eXonity, apu, Koblat
FB: Undertaker, Mozcito, MadMax, Marauder, RDM, H.y.k.E
Time: Wednesday 29th March, 20:00 CET
Demo: N/A

schoon - Fresh&TighT > Finnish Brandenburg by 3:0

F&T keep improving with their players good performances in NC and a win over Spite in the first NightCup. Their skill and teamplay should ease them past FB and get a few fullcaps.

Milestone to Disaster [ 5:0 - WO ] Standing our Ground

MtD: N/A
SoG: N/A
Time: Wednesday 29th March, 20:00 CET
Demo: N/A

schoon - Milestone to Disaster > Standing our Ground by 2:0

MtD have gotten a lot better since they started, it took them a while as expected but now they are defintaely a contender in any tournament. SoG however dont have MtD's enthusiasm, in the past they would have easily won this but now, i dont think they will, if the match is played.

Heriotzaren Semeak [ X:X ] Erste SS

HSnS: TBA
ErsteSS: TBA
Time: Wednesday 29th March, 20:00 CET
Demo: N/A

schoon - HSnS > ErsteSS by 3:0

HSnS have been playing source a while now so their teamplay and chemistry is probably quite good. ErsteSS however forfeited their match last week so if this match is even played i back HSnS to win.

Inferno Online [ 0:2 ] HighFive

inf.online: N/A
h5: N/A
Time: Thursday 30th March, 20:00 CET
Demo: N/A

schoon - Inferno Online < HighFive by 0:3

Inf are an experienced team but i believe h5 have a more talented lineup and so should take a fairly comfortable win.

ferratus [ X:X ] Carlstad-Wapen

ferratus: TBA
cw: TBA
Time: Wednesday 29th March, 20:00 CET (Postponed)
Demo: N/A

schoon - ferratus > cw by 1:0

If TmG weren't playing Spite this would be the match of the week. ferratus are very talented finnish team while cw have got their groove back with a reformed roster. This match will be very close and scrappy but i think ferratus will put more pressure on cw and either win on points or get a single fullcap.

BlitzKrieg [ 5:0 - WO ] cube!

BK: N/A
cube!: N/A
Time: Thursday 30th March, 20:00 CET
Demo: N/A

schoon - BlitzKrieg > cube! by 3:0

BK will go into this match confident despite their hatred for the map. cube! might have a trick up their sleeve in a new player or two but it probably wont be enough to hold back BK from capping a few times.

Killing Is My BusinesS [ 0:5 - WO ] DON

KisS: N/A
DON: N/A
Time: Thursday 30th March, 20:00 CET
Demo: N/A

schoon - Killing Is My BussinesS < DON by 0:1

KiSS are experienced in DoD:S but DON are a team with potential and some good talent, and i think they will be too much for the spaniards.

Rebels aSsault [ 5:0 - WO ] Team LeGion

RaS: TBA
LeGion: TBA
Time: Wednesday 29th March, 20:00 CET
Demo: N/A

schoon - Rebels aSsault > LeGion by 3:0

I'm not sure if LeGion will turn up to play this match, as they forfeited last week. However i think if they do they still wont take the win against this decent Hungarian team.

i believe that team pulled out of teh competition to sort out player problems, so every match there involved in is default.

However i think they have started to get these problems sorted so look out for them soon
