Nice idea. All looks about right to me, how antrax isnt in player of the year is beyond me too, and tepa to watch in new year imo!

nice idea, but somehow i feel like people took it more like a playervote. i'd agree with voting luk3 as best sniper definatly, maybe as best player aswell, who knows, but looking back on the whole year there is noone else that deserved this title more then antrax. he managed to build and keep together a team that won all competitions of 2009, if you see this ems season as 2010 event.
also i miss wL/serverox in the ranking, who have been dominating the scene along with us in the first 7 months of the year.
other then that, great work, thumbs up. congratz to the winners. especially zg, he deserved it

#4 that is quite amusing I would agree, however when you look at it, that was 1 vote, no doubt by one of the danes :D the majority of people I asked and who replied either went for zg or nomercy!

agree with micHiii on the wL/servox bit, and ofcourse antrax should be up there with LUK3 (who is the best player to touch dods, eod). i voted tepa for player to look out for, i did tell ya from when i had his demos :D <3 mirothejew

The only think I find weird is that the line-ups written for the teams of the year 2009 are those of 2010. Btw it looks like people have totally forgotten the ones who played at the beginning of the year, that makes the first vote a bit inaccurate imo (even thought zp still deserves the spot).

Suprised that exel wasnt in the players either tbh, he was such a key player imo taking some very valuable clutches such as the esl summer cup grandfinal when he killed 5 of tlr in the last min, winning them the game. Imo zp were at their best with exel.

& hogan, i know theres a handful of players who are just so much better than the rest, and LUK3 is one of them, fair enough if you have a different opinion, but im still yet to play with/against someone as good as LUK3, and many would agree

LUK3 has allways been underrated until recently, allways a hard player to play against, constantly consistant just his previous teams were not as good as his current so he didn't get as much notice.

LUK3 is no doubt one of the current best dods players in europe, people calling him campy etc are fucking idiots, he runs around pretty much everywhere. I guess the germans from w4sp have to come flame him after getting rolled by first.

I love the bitterness of the wasp guys because you got rolled in a scrim, calm down, shut up and jog on it was only a pcw. It is awesome the amount of hate that can be generated from simply winning a pcw, i can't say i have ever spoken to any of them. My guess is that they are hot headed retards...
...Swiftly moving on the zeropoint team deserve top spot they have shown what they are capable of on a number of occasions. After our recent EMS game i have new found respect for zp despite all of the drama that has happened and i now have nothing 'against' any of them. They have deserved all the success they have had.
Cyber addicts are no doubtable an up-coming top team, they are a talented bunch of players, have some solid team play and all they need now is some big results to send them on there way.
zg is obviously the player to watch for the next campaign as there has been alot of speculation to whether he cheats or not. I think after all of the drama and bitching his overall performances have suffered a little but none the less his team made it to the final 4 in EMS and i am sure they are planning on building on that, good luck to them. After starting dods and playing a little with casca before making a big jump to the top of the competitive scene people are naturally curious to see how NoMercy will perform, i think he will continue to go from strength to strength. Mattiiii, tepa?
Thanks to the people who voted for me as the best player and for the support shown in the thread. As mentioned above there have been other influential players that should have been considered and to just name a few; antrax, akiro, Lindo, r0bbz, exel, kEa, kivin, matth, lomme, dasti and even my arch-enemy michiii :D What about considering apax and anker for the hard work they did putting together zp lan? kudos to you guys.
I won't post back to the flamers it ain't my thing but im sure there will be more than you could shake a stick at. Good initiative taken on by aKaa we need as many unique articles/competitions/features/videos as possible to make dods stand out from other games and support it which ever way we can.

Played Luk3 last night, I wasn't good as usual thoose times, but for all who speak about him, I just want to say that he is harder to play than 99.9999 percents of snipers I met on the game last months. Imo he doesn't reach Matth's lvl or some kicki'n ass frenchies just like tigii, but although I wouldn't put him on the 1st place this year, he deserves much more respect form you dudes.
How do you can talk about his way of playi'n when no one from the 3 best teams in the world contest his skills ? If you want to say he's a noob, get a good training before, find good players and challenge FF ;).
I'm not a fanboy at all, I just experienced the wrong way of saying about players I never beat, that isn't respectfull for their work, or their talent, even they are stupid dumbass shitty guys just like cqrl (never played him in any officials, bur he's a kind of ppl I described ^^)

Obviously I havnt played or watched LUK3 in ages but hes always been underrated, even at the very end of 1.3 I remember him giving Jaunty and Wallu a rough time as a total unknown. I'd imagine hes a much smarter player now than the last time I saw him play with is a scary though :D
Still, just looking out how 2009 panned out, it seems to me that antrax achieved a shitload in 2009 with zp! Probably deserved it the award a bit more.
