for frags only do this: start fraps, record your scenes, open vegas (or windows movie maker), put all your scenes in order on the timeline, add a song (your choice), or just leave original sounds of the guns and granades, and thats it you got your self a frag show ... now in my opinion a real movie is 100% made of art and creativity, still showing the frags, with tons of effects .. .this is the beauty of makin a fragmovie, there are no limits you can always go above your self and your last work, this is how ppl improve their editing skills, this is how ppl increase their creativity.
So here goes a msg to all moviemakers: have no limits, use your creativity as much as you like cuz there are no rules :D
oh and btw .. very nice movie mate ^^ a litle too simple but the best one you did so far 1!!1

#24 And that's exactly my problem. This is not a movie, it is a HOTW. The clue is in the name, the function of it is to display frags, not editing skills.
I'm not saying all movies should be unedited, one of my favourites ever is Red Skull (which is super edited). But in my opinion HOTW should be about the skill of players, not the skill of the movie makers.

Hell, i`m speaking for myself here, idk about the other moviemakers, but everytime i make a hotw i give my best, not because i simply want to, but because i want those players that sent me demos to actualy deserve to be on a fragmovie. Once a friend told me some years ago that for you to be on a hotw you have to deserve it cuz thats what the name says - highlights - if the player put the time and effort with practices and discipline during games, nothing is more fair then puting some time and effort yourself to make a decent movie... it doesnt matter what kind of movie it is...
Dont get me wrong, i`m not insulting you guys like you guys love to do with all moviemakers. Im just expressing my opinions here and, like always, protecting my interest in this comunity, which is tryin to make the best fragmovies.
DoDs is not such a famous game anymore ... and the comunities around the world are not that big... so i think you guys should me more greatfull and criticize a litle less, because its not easy to make a fragmovie, even the msot simple one. If you dont believe me try making 1 yourselves.
