This file allows to view old demos, which were recorded after the june 29th and before the september 19th source engine update.
Install instructions:
1. Download the file and extract it somewhere
2. Move the Day of Defeat.gcf in your steam/steamapps folder somewhere else
( you can skip that part but then you have to download the update later again )
3. Close down steam
4. Delete the DLL files in your steam/steamapps/email/day of defeat source/dod/bin folder
5. Disable your network connection
6. Copy the extracted gcf file into your steam/steamapps folder
7. Start steam and select offline mode
8. Start DoD:S and watch the demo

Had an issue opening up dods once steam was up. It would play the vid and go all the way to the options screen and then say something like "can not find library file" or missing "library file" something. Anyone have this issue and know how to fix it?
