I have been asked to see if there were any interest in having dods on the program to the next Slap event in april.
I have already asked the danish community, and with the amount of teams already annouced their interest in participating. Now i just want to know if there is any european teams that are interested and will/wants to show up. :)
Date: 1-2-3-4. April (tournament starts friday)
Location: Copenhagen
Price: 350 kr ~ 47 euro per person
Prizes: 6.000 kr if 10 teams are participating. + 2-3k worth of hardware.
Its a BYOC
Teams on the ready to go list so far:

I know the prices are alittle more expensive then zp + you have to bring your own computer, but the activities you can try at the event, its 4 days, you dont have to find some place to sleep since its in the price, and the danish community, will be worth it, there will be some more informations on it all on monday, but they need to know how much teams they can expect in dods within this weekend.
So if i can get some fast answers it would be awesome. :D

I'd like to attend this, but BYOC kind of makes it hard. Good for DOD:s that more LAN's are up and coming.

my comp is fuckin huge and heavy, it would be too much of a ball ache to try and go to this. Unless some1 wants to start a euro trip from the uk then maybe!!

mh price per person 47 euros and the tournament money is just 800 euros? or have you meant 6000 euros instead of 6000 kr ?
if 3 teams are paying entry fee = 18*47=846 euros - would be more than the 800 euro prize money 0o?
(i know not all entry fee goes into the prize money...but if you will get 10 teams playing it would be 2820 euros and you cant tell me that you need ~2000 euros (2820-800 euro prizemoney you mentioned) just for setting up the dod:s tournament)
gl anyways

300 kr is for the seat to the event and the 50 kr is for playing in the tournament. for the larger games its 100-150 kr for the tournament participation.
50*6*10 = 3000 kr. But the prizes will be 6000 kr if there comes 10 teams, or so i have been told from sui who are the guy behind the event.
my guess is there will be around 1000 computer geeks to this event, and they are really trying to get alot of visitors to the event, by having alot of activities :)
