Europe zpgaming.eu: Another try for zP! LAN #2 ?

The zeroPoint! Gaming management saw the last zP! LAN canceled, as only a few teams managed to pay the registration fee in time. It took a big bite out of our motivation, but here we are yet again talking about another zP! LAN. We do not think about the past and will simply move on. Thoughts about another zP! LAN event started to cross our minds again and we decided to check things out with the community once again.

The zP! LAN #2 event would take place somewhere in July. We have not decided on the venue yet, but it would most likely be the WZZRD cafe in Enschede. Though these are not the matters we like to hear about from the community. What we truly need to know is which teams would actually be able to go. Sit down with your team and discuss the matter. Once your minds have been made up, we would like to ask for an e-mail from the team captain to the mail below with the information we ask for.

We saw that zpgaming.eu recently added Day of Defeat 1.3 to it's community website once again. Doing so, we would also like to invite the European 1.3 teams to have a look and see whether their community can come up with a sufficient amount of teams to have a decent tournament. What we are looking for is at least 20 teams in total, with a minimum of 8 teams for the 1.3 tournament. We hope not to be aiming too high for either one of the games.

If your team wishes to sign up for this event you need to send the following information in an email to Jeroen [@] zpgaming [.] eu (remove spaces & []):
Game:
Team Name:
Website:
IRC:
Contact person:
Contact email:
Potential lineup: (can be changed later on)
* NOTE: If enough interest, we would like to announce the event in the first week of April so teams have enough time to pay the registration fee. Do not send an e-mail when you are not sure your team can attend. We cannot and will not announce the event if we cannot get a decent estimate of the amount of teams that wish to seriously attend

We will continue to post information about this event whenever we have anything to post so please don't ask for updates and such, it will come when we have any.

If you run a company that would be interested in being one of our partners for this event you can get in contact with us either via email or regular mail:

United Kingdom Volatile become KING2

Despite having a line up crawling with talent, more nations cup players than you can shake a stick at and an impressive first division win under their belts,  Volatile has been, well, volatile for quite some time now. With long standing heavy Matthew mattii Harvey abruptly leaving the team for FIRSTFRAG and enough name changes to sink a battleship. Between the multiple player changes and the questionable backing organisation, few believed the team could survive another shake up.

However internal changes to the teams structure, most notably Robbie Lindo Lindsay taking over from
Joseph jo3y Dant as team captain and the movement from Volatile to their independent name KING2 seem to have been a positive force. As such, the team welcomes back mattii as a sniper only days after leaving the line up.

This move leaves the team with a familiar light setup alongside the formidable heavy duo of Ben bAc Coppard and Piotr Piter Czerwiński. Along with David Dav3 Zábranský and Marcus mj Johannnesson as exceptionally talented backups, the line up looks stronger than ever, though appears to leave Sebastian alone Morawiec out in the cold. The KING2 line up looks like:
  • Joseph jo3y Dant
  • Robbie Lindo Lindsay
  • Dave phn Wood
  • Marcus mj Johannnesson
  • David Dav3 Zábranský

  • Ben bAc Coppard
  • Piotr Piter Czerwiński

  • Matthew mattiii Harvey
