It’s great to see how multigamingclans are still interested in Day of Defeat: Source. Decent organisations, let’s think back to the time when
clutchmasterz were offered a spot in
The Last Resort, or the variety of French organisations that have supported Day of Defeat: Source in the past (
oXmoze,
ShockWave,
da Roxor united), are still putting energy and resources in the small scene.
It aren’t just the top teams that are getting support from other organisations. Teams like
Wild 4 Sports don’t belong to the top fifteen just yet, but still their organisations are putting their confidence in these promising teams, which of course is a thing we can only cheer on.
A rather unknown German team have also been picked up, after having some bad luck in the past with other organisations. They started at
GFC as their second Day of Defeat: Source team, being nicknamed “talents!”. After
GFC folded, they decided to change their name to
talents!, as they felt this would keep the atmosphere as it was in GFC: A bunch of friendly and enthusiastic guys, playing a game they all liked.
When they finally found an organisation, namely
Team Awaken, they carried out a few line-up changes. Not less than four people had to quit the team. After two months waiting for server support or anything like that, the team decided it was time to pick up the old tag again, trying to find a new organisation, also having lost three other players.
After a few days they seemingly found the organisation they’ve been waiting for.
roYality eSports is their new home for both the original talents! players, as well as their additions
Sanji,
aculaaa,
d3z and
Flo, players who have joined the team as time passed by. Although there’s only four players left from the original GFC.talents! squad, they’re really motivated with their new companions. A bright future lies ahead for these boys, if they manage to train regularly.
Their squad consists of following members:Alexander "sLickz" Gaicki statement:
"Not even 24 hours after we announced our search for a Multigamingclan, a lot of options were lying on the table: Traditional clans, promising remakes of old and forgotten glorious teams or just new organisations in general, it was all right in front of our nose. As soon as roYality eSports contacted me and I had a conversation with the headmanager, we decided that the others could pack their stuff. By choosing for roYality eSports, my team decided for a long existing team with an experienced management and promising future prospects. The team members and myself are pretty sure that this clan support can (and will) give us an advantage and eventually give us the chances to play amongst the better teams of Europe. What we will achieve comes all down to us of course, but on our road to roYality eSports we already achieved a few minor achievements, nothing big teams would be proud of, but everyone of us has to start somewhere, right? In spite of the age difference between some players, the mood of the team is really good and we’re always having fun whilst playing. Our goals are to reach the first division on ESL, getting a decent place in the 6on6 ESL L adder, finishing as many cups successfully and in the future participating in a LAN party. We hope that with the support of roYality eSports we can achieve these goals as well as have a good co-operation between eachother."
