Atthe end of January, we've seen quite a few changes in the scene;
diAmond returning,
FirstFrag picking up
lennox,
SaTaN666 finding a new home (
rockit) and even the Spanish team
regless finding an organisation to play for.Another big organisation in the French scene has decided to venture in the world of Day of Defeat: Source.
UBITEAM have a number of awards in a broad variety of games (Left 4 Dead and TrackMania Nations for example). Also the fact that their Counter Strike: Source team consists solely of female players, must've affected their choice.
mysTix.Girls are no more,
UBITEAM.dods is born!To find out exactly why the girls left the organisation they've played for two and a half years, I talked to team captain
Angie, who was kind enough to give me a statement regarding the events.Their line-up has barely changed over the past few months:Angie's statement:
"We've decided to move on to another organisation, because we feel that we were in need of more support (for example LAN support). UBITEAM has always been kind to us, they've always been there even for the slightest problems we had or questions we wanted to ask them. They took their time to talk to us and that's one of the main reasons why we selected UBITEAM as our new home. Our goal is, as it has always been, to improve as a team and to give the best of ourselves both online as well as offline. I'd also like to take the opportunity to thank mysTix for all the things they've done for us during those two years we played for them. Also thanks to Steuner, who spent time for us, thanks to Sajith, who gave me the contact details to UBITEAM. Kisses to all my girls and to nitrose! Obviously also thanks to UBITEAM for the support and confidence they've given us."
Lisa"LiiSa"
Charlotte "Leela"
Nathaëlle "HeYyYgiRL"
Kelly "CrazySs"
Angélique "Angie"
Armony"Electra"
Camille "ReiKo"
Amandine "ToxyZz"
Lidia"Lily"
mysTix.Girls tag, something we don't see very often, they've been given a great chance to improve themselves under a new name. With the increased support, the girls will be able to maintain the habit of participating in LAN parties. Angie told me that they'll be training as hard as possible for
Anjougame in March and
Lan Source in April.
zpgaming.eu wishes them the best of luck in the future events!
