infinitus make changes

Over the past week or so infinitus have undergone some surgery to their line-up problem. The main change being Richard ‘RicKaaa’ Kay taking over the reins at the helm of the clan, plus the addition of two new troopers, namely Timo 'shame" Albers and Sergey 'Solo' Naumenko taking up rifle and sniper respectively.

Infinitus have been improving immensely and consistently over recent times, seeing them book themselves a place in the up-and-coming EMS season, a great achievement in anyone’s eyes considering the skill level required.

The mood in the infinitus camp is good and after talking to various members, they are looking forward to competing officially against the higher skilled teams, and very much look forward to causing upsets and shock results, and slapping an infintus stamp upon the rankings table. After speaking with their new captain RicKaaa about things, this is what he had to say;
Richard "RicKaaa" Kay's statement:

Recently our team had started to struggle with lack of motivation for the game due to a number of reasons and despite achieving our goal of qualifying for the upcoming EMS our desire to continue playing hadn’t increased. Include into that Crassus becoming inactive due to school work piling up we knew we had to make some changes to keep the team together. We started looking for players to improve our line-up and after playing some games with solo and shame and seeing how they fit in with the rest of the team it was an easy decision to ask them to join us.

Our aim now is to do as well as we possibly can in the upcoming EMS and ESL seasons and cause some upsets and surprises with results. I have no doubt our team is heavily underrated and no-one will be expecting us to challenge with the top teams. The other change to our line-up see's Inc take a step back to follow his WoW interest. I would personally like to wish him all the best as if it was not for him this team would not have got this far.
infinitus now features:
  • Richard 'RicKaaa' Kay
  • James 'semaj' Perfect
  • Aaron 'aKaaa' Swain
  • Alex 'bQQMzR^^!' Howard
  • Timo 'shame' Albers
  • Sergey 'Solo' Naumenko

  • Mert 'crassus' Aydin

  • zpgaming.eu wishes them the best of luck in the future events!

maybe when u stop playing all the time and get ajob u will grow up and stop slating people who play for fun. im sorry we avoid you guys in the uk but its just not worth acting like kids in the park. maybe its time to look at how you act! kinda childish really.

amusing thing, robbie taught us to never play a mix.

anyway thanks 4 support, on my mobile posting, waitin 4 lift home! yay!

holds a fair point though just look at it this way if you want to breach top 5 ems you need experiance and everytime you add new players you loose the UK players and improve. Not saying UK players you have are bad or anything I couldn't care less, it's just a re-occuring pattern of your lineup which is showing.

the UK scene is turning into a Jeremy Kyle show. Love it.

37 RicKaaa is offline United Kingdom RicKaaa 2010-04-21 02:21:52 CEST

to be honest it is actually a fair point.... we cant continue to improve by recruiting players from within the UK scene as other than those already clanned in better teams than our own (King2 and First) the experience at playing at a higher level isnt there !

So yes if it was an attempt at being constructive then yes his comment is valid.

However it was just said in flame, which is a bit pointless and uncalled for ! BUT HEY HO ! keyboard warriors n all that

oh and yes.... this is a cool story bro !

Its amusing, one UK player was changed and we now changed sooooooooo sooooo much :D

Yep experience is needed, however rctic did well! Still we will be involved and will do our very best, other teams who may be better as single players are not involved. We will try hard, play lots against better teams and improve, much like u did with us joey in neutronics before u went for "experience" over dedication.

#48 I was refering to the original sLip when you started out with a full UK lineup, but like every good player knows when you play at a good level for a while and drop down the ladder you want to climb back up again after a while. ;)
