I don't understand why the lan is during the week, surely a lot of people work o_O?
Good Luck have fun to those who do attend!

#27 There's something weird in the fact that you never showed yourself once in lan. However you are admin of the ACC. Please give us some credibility by attending at least one lan in your life.
Don't tell us that it's a money problem. Tront is supporting dods for ages now by creating some cashprizes cups. I think he can afford to help you just a little bit in this case :)
Ps: Lans are for nerds, but every dods players are nerds

It's really easy to reach from Germany so come on guys ! At least 2 or 3 non-french teams would be great.

#42 Don't do it, too expensive to move from England to France =D
#40 True, but according to me, money isn't a excuse for someone who always avoids lans.
Iam sure a lot of guys could be ready to give you 2€ only to see you offline. 2€ X 50 = 100 € :D

#43 dude whats ur excuse for not having any french team coming to german lan or the danish? And tbh not that many at zp lan :D ur just staying in ur country. Then its not as expensive. But money shouldnt but can(sadly) be a reason for not going. Though still everyone can afford it, if they want too
#36 there is something wierd about going to lans and actually seem to care AND still cheat the ass off, u know any who got banned by dodsacc?

#44 Fact is that attending 5 lans in your own country is more expensive than attending only one abroad, so it seems quite funny that people who never moved their ass to a lan after several years playing still use that excuse to avoid attending. :)

Expecting people like LUK3 to go abroad for a LAN just to prove himself is bullshit.
I've been to 8 LANs in England whilst I was playing CoD4, and not once did I think about spending £hundreds to go abroad for a fucking LAN without full support (most of the UK LANs I went to, I spent like £60, and that was EVERYTHING), even though each time there was a decent chance of finishing in cash winning positions.
"Money isn't an excuse." Don't talk utter bullshit.
I always had a job when I was playing, I lived at home, I had fuck all bills to pay, but for me, there's a million more things more important or meaningful to ME than spending it on playing computer games for 2 days - Yes I went to the UK events, but that's like 20% of the cost, convenient, takes little preparation and I get to meet the people I want, rather than spend loads to meet the same people plus a load of foreign faggots.
And suggesting Tront pay their fees.. Just lol. Any MGO willing to offer LAN support in DoD:S (maybe the top French teams if they're still about) are just pissing away money for zero ROI.
"quite funny that people who never moved their ass to a lan after several years playing still use that excuse to avoid attending. :)"
Wtf? Really? This is a game, some people just play this shit casually, even though they might be fucking good, even though they might be the best fucking player in Europe, its DoD:S. You don't need to be at a LAN every month, if someone like LUK3 is playing this game for 2-3 hrs a night a few days a week, spending a few weeks wages for a few days doing what he does at home is ludicrous and unreasonably for you to call him out on it.
Refusing to LAN should not burden a players reputation in this game, people just have different priorities.
