ESL: Autumn '11 - Premier - The Final Groups

The Groups
The
ESL Autumn'11 league is almost over and as of the weekend, we shall know who is going up against who in the playoff finals. We currently have two games left to play in the
Premier Division. In Group A,
FirstFrag still have to play
3DMAX. This game should be played on Thursday, It will be up to the French to try and win as First are already going through as the top team in the division. However either way the French team will go through in
3rd spot.

In Group B, we have one important game that looks like it may be played on Sunday. On the ESL site it shows that the Spaniards got a default win against the Germans however it appears it may be a mistake and the game could still be played. Take a look
here and tell me what you think? If this game is to be played, it could be very important for both teams. If
deCerto wins, it will take them second ahead of
all4nothing, If
aw3some wins, it will take them above
Peculiar who will then have to face
FirstFrag in the playoff finals if the playoffs goes as I think.

On Sunday,
Solo should be announcing the playoff stages, In my opinion it will be a pretty simple knock out final that hopefully looks like the following:
Winner Group A versus 4th place Group B
Second Place Group B versus 3rd place Group A
Winner Group B versus 4th place Group B
Second place Group A versus 3rd place Group B
So if we go by the system I have above, which "IS NOT CONFIRMED". We will see some thing like :
FirstFrag vs aw3some // Peculiar
All4nothing // deCerto vs 3DMAX
zeroPoint! vs Phenix
Enmity vs aw3some // Peculiar
Well on Sunday this should be confirmed when the games get played, However looking at the above and if it is going to be the case then we have some awesome games ahead. Watch out for the post on Sunday guys!

Congrats to all teams. Must say the strength of vye really suprised me. I knew they were good, but they're just rolling over everyone except Firstfrag :).

according to what jalaji said to me if decerto won't win by default awesome will as they dont have time to play this week (hopefully they will get a team by this time somehow and we will see an interesting match)

Would be weird to turn that match into a forfeit win for aw3some, as i would assume the drawn wildcard had to be announced in the comments 24 hours before the match.
In stead B2K posted ":/ we really cant play tomorrow 20cet" 19 hours before the default time and date.
The best would still be if they can agree on another date to play, but giving a default win to aw3some would be a weird admin decision.

after playing our last game we overall capwise achieved
61:5 (highest caps and best ratio in the whole league *alldivisions*)
with 3 games being 13:0
:D
only one who came close was zP! with 35:16

#20 loeads of more teams that got better difference than zp if you look at all divisions, closest is:
Russian "Blitz" with 60-2 +/-
and if im not mistaken should have the better ratio as they only got 1 cap less than ff but they lost only 2 whilst ff lost 5 :P

i say good on decerto.... less ppl that used game enhancing scripts into the playoffs.
Just need a4n to fold and roz to lose the ability to use both of his hands for life and this game might be worth playing again

#28 lol? if decerto really dont find time to play during this week, you've got nobody to blame for the defwin for decerto but yourself.
ie. use the match comments to state your wildcard clear and proper in the allowed time period, sorry.

Looks like clutchz can make it to the playoffs without winning any matches :)

5.1. Team barrages
If a team is barraged during the groupstage or Playoffs it is allowed to play its open matches. But if the team has 12 or more penalty points at the beginning of Playoffs it will be disqualified.
