After a month long competition we are finally at the end of the
zP! LAN Trailer Competition. After a slow start we eventually had five guys competing for the
ROCCAT provided prizes. With some great trailers and some less we are now happy to announce the three winners.

Was an AMAZING idea using the before using kone and after using it. Frags were ok, lomme's aim was rofl, best part of the vid. Downside was that he used a trailer made by proffesional video editors, and just dled it and put it in his trailer, was a bit bad of him as it wasnt his own work but i guess he was the smart one to dl it and incorporate it in with the rest. The idea itself blows every other movie out of the water.

I hope every shot was synced to the beats, and quality was good on your pcs ;) Have fun watching :)
Semaj's Entry:
The quality was the first thing i noticed when the frags started, it seemed as though it wasnt recorded with the highest texture setting, and the lack of colors made it boring to watch from my view. He had the basic concept correct, he promoted the lan and showed some frags. It looked as though he rushed the video in the end, which imo let his entry down slightly.
sok's Entry:
As this is a competition that is serious enough to give out prizes I believe it should stick to the rules it sets. It was stated the maximum length is 90Seconds, sok's trailer was over 2minutes. Therfore in theory it should be disqualified. Anyhow the quality was awful, the soundtrack didnt fit, the frags were awful - he included 2mans for no reason.
This was more like a badly made zp team movie than a lan trailer, I wouldnt have had a clue it was promoting any sort of lan until the text at the very end.
Aculaaa's Trailer:
I know it can be seen as a joke but i love it. I know it didnt actually server the purpose (the reason why it was so low in the results) but imo it was a creative idea, the jackass theme was executed perfectly. All the other trailers showed how serious lan is, but this trailer can show the funnier and more enjoyable side.
This was by far the most risky but creative idea in my books.

#13 Yup mine was rushed :), could of done alot better but oh well. I used the highest texture setting so either I encoded it badly, my movie cfg sucks or u got bad eyes :)

mh, i see alfies movie at 1st place. it was the most trailer-like clip, whereas joeys was an advertisement for roccat stuff and the others were some random frag clips!

Alfie's was the only decent clip in the comp. Joey had just ripped other's work. Kinda sad that no more serious clips where made. But can't really blame anyone cause was too lazy to participate myself:D Hope zp will still arrage these comps sometimes...

Yeah alfies should of won if it was based on the principle of editing, sync, layout and frags.
But initially it's the ideas that count.
Your aim with this trailer is to highlight the product(s) of your choice from ROCCAT using Day of Defeat Source in a creative way.
It's all you had to do :D
