New Highlights of the Week 2010 Feature

zeroPoint! Community can present a small new reward for those players who send in very good frags from official played matches. We connect our Forum with the currently running Highlights of the Week 2010 series and present you a new feature: If your frags were shown in one of our HOTW`s for five, fifteen or twentyfive times you get a logo behind your nickname on this website. These awards are not connected with special access or treatment within the community, it just shows other members that you were featured for a certain amount of times in our fragmovies. Here is a little preview, the counter started with HOTW 1/2010:

Bronze: featured 5 times in a zP! HOTW -

Silver: featured 15 times in a zP! HOTW -

Gold: featured 25 times in a zP! HOTW -

We do hope that this increased the quality of frags that were sent in too. Do not save scenes for your own movie, it is not a shame at all that you show frags twice. The intention of a HOTW is to show good frags from the past week, in an own fragmovie someone else edits your frags with a different style - it should not stop you from sending in. Take this opportunity again as a little incentive to share your personal highlights!

erm, btw what happens to people previously featured in hotw's like dav3? do they get them or do they have to start a fresh? :D and will it replace other badges such as if you were to wear a STAFF badge would it be two badges or just 1? other than that cool feature bro.

for the moment its a fresh start since hotw 1/2010 and you can have multiple logos after your nick. i know its not a major deal, but its a nice little effort. maybe we extend it to past hotw`s with other numbers, moviemakers will benefit from it soon too. take it just as a start :)

gay idea tbh, if you want better calibre of hotws, make it so only ems and prem teams send footage, for the majority of hotws, then have a special hotw when every1 can send footage in, and maybe even an nations cup hotw, or stop letting movie makers who use awful frags make hotws.

So from now on only good teams can send in footage so it might make the noobier teams wanna be better so they can appear in HOTW OMG!!!

Good idea, I really never cared about movies and demos. Mostly delete them after a couple of days. Last year I sent some demos. If I get something decent, I surely will sent it to the HOTW!
