zP! at GameOnLive LAN 2012
zeroPoint! has a strong tradition of great performances and representation at many LAN events in various games, especially within DoD:S. Most recently of note our former DoD:S team captained by micHiii, who competed at zP! LAN and wargames 3 with success.
This weekend zeroPoint! is proud to be represented by our current DoD:S team, akiR0, mj, BouH, nightmare, Ekvall and Link. Nightmare is the team's LAN veteran, representing many teams throughout his career as too has Link. akiR0, mj and BouH are well known from the team rockit/TLR who won anjougame in 2011. Of the team, only Ekvall has not attended a LAN though online he is certainly very skilled and many of us hope to see him perform well on LAN.
The team will face strong opponents in mTxServ! who have LAN experience, attending a few LANs in France last year, and Memento another French team who performed well in ESL Premier Division.

Hey, back from the lan.
It was a really really good lan, sadly not enough team but still.
We won even if we played not that good because of some fragwhores :D (hi mj and eki :D ). Anyway, the organisation was good, we played 8 games which is reasonable. (Some lan it's too much ...).
The place was amazing, I guess some pictures are gonna be posted soon.
We had an hotel directly in the stadium which was sooooo cool.
Last but not least... Eki is now lanproof :) , despite his fucking bad expensive rented computer (70fps with drops @ low graphs) he did the job well as if he was online.
About the "pub class" teams: it had always been like that here, french teams love doing lan to meet each other and it's very nice to meet everybody on lan even if they are kinda of "low". (+ They make the cashprize increasing :D ).
So yes, on the saturday games are not very interesting, but what's the point about doin a lan with only top teams on dods? I mean, we don't have enough teams to do that.
Still, I would have loved to see more top teams @ this lan. + Mtx, memento and vittuu were good opponents to play against. it was interesting games.

#29 wb final score was zp 2 - 1 mtx (bo3) (anzio, lennon, argentan) this match was awesome, it was really hard to know who will finally get the match on argentan :) zp won this map 2 - 1
and big final was zp 3 - 0 mtx on santos

Hey finally back,
was a long trip, arrived at home at 4h30am and university for an exams at 8am. It was perfect :D
For once, the LAN has been almost perfect. Organization without any delay!!, Network, Buildings&co (having the hotel rooms at 2mins walk was awesome), servers were perfect and available for everyone on the friday night(kinda rare for a LAN)
2 negatives points to that LAN, was that they didn't shoutcasted some dods :(, and the numbers of team because it could have been a fucking good event if more teams moved their ass!
